“We are currently focusing our attention, for example, on developing foods for infants and young children with special needs, such as those born prematurely or with milk protein allergies,” says expert Hajar Mahrazi. “We have special products in our range that provide optimal nutrition for these children as well. At the same time, we continue to research other areas to continually expand our offerings, although we are already one of the few—and perhaps the only—brands in many countries that offer this type of solution.”
This research is of great importance because premature babies are at risk for several nutritional deficiencies, including protein and iron deficiencies. Research has shown that feeding these babies a protein- and iron-rich formula can help improve their growth and development. Additionally, babies with milk protein allergy cannot tolerate the milk proteins found in cow's milk. Research has shown that feeding babies with this type of allergy a low-allergy formula can help control their symptoms and support their growth and development.
